Praying today for the Warren family and for so many others who knew and loved Matthew Warren. His death is a reminder to me of so many who face the challenges of depression. May God comfort these friends today with the blessed hope that their son is now whole and at peace with the Father.

Thank you Steve. I join you in that prayer. I can’t imagine the pain of losing a child. I am praying for all of the Warren family.

Prayers for Rick, Kay and their whole family as they are left to deal with the questions of why and a lifetime of emptiness where only Matthew could fill. As one that has been dealing with clinical depression for 15 years now, I’ve been to the point a few times where suicide was in my thoughts and once I tried it. But God has strengthened me and has shown me that’s just the easy way out. That’s what the enemy wants me and others dealing with severe depression to think is best….just to end it all. That’s not the case at all. That’s when we need God the most. My depression is under control and I see a psychologist once a week and it really helps, along with daily Bible study and prayer time. My prayers will continue to be with Rick and Kay, I can’t imagine loosing a child. I have 3.

I can not imagine going through such a personal family trauma with so many people watching. I prayed for them often since hearing the news. It is so heart-breaking! Finding comfort in knowing our sweet Lord can provide for their every need. Praying for peace that passes all understanding and strength for today, tomorrow and the many difficult days to come!
