I’m from the south so college football is more my thing. And I am a Gator fan so my favorite NFL team has been whoever had Tebow the last several years (no longer in effect). This year I am in a fantasy league for the first time so I need several players/teams to do well. But for some reason I really like Seattle. They are young, deep, and their fans seem incredible. Fun to watch.

    • Tim Forsythe says

For better or for worse …unfortunately in my lifetime it has always been for worse …. The Cleveland Browns!

  2. Mike Morris says

I too enjoy college football instead, but will go with the Charlotte Panthers because they are closest to local.

  3. Heath Haney says

I too am from the south where college football rules. But… after Peyton’s performance last night… Let’s go with Denver!

  4. Phillip Swindall says

I have always liked the Green Bay Packers, because of Bart Starr (I grew up in Gadsden and Birmingham, AL, so I knew who Bart was at an early age. When my dad moved to Quitman, MS to go to pastor Calvary Baptist there and to go to seminary in New Orleans, I became a huge Archie and New Orleans Saints fan… After Brett was let go from Green Bay, my loyalties shifted from being split between the two, to being a Saints fan…. But I can’t see their games on cable here in Alabama :(

  5. Richard Miller says

Grew up a Dallas Cowboys fan (my uncle worked for the Cowboys) until the Oilers/Titans came to Nashville. Now I am a Titans fan!

  6. John Michael Turner says

I am more of a college football fan because I live in North Mississippi in the heart of SEC Country. Also because of where I live, I do follow 2 NFL teams that are close to me geographically. New Orleans Saints and Tennessee Titans

  7. Eric W. says

Although I am born and raised in NYC, my first interaction with football was in the mid 80’s when the Chicago bears were the DA Bears! I grew up playing ninetendo football and they had the 85 bears as the legendary teams. I would love playing the beats with Walter Payton as running back. Plus as a child I loved the way the bears football gear looked. Chicago bears all the way! :)

  8. says

I am big fan of various NFL players – Tebow, Eli & Peyton Manning, and a couple of others – but I was born in San Diego, CA and I’ve lived in So. Cal. my whole life so far which means I’m a Chargers fan at heart :)

  9. Brian Trotter says

Grew up wanting to be a Pittsburgh Steeler because of Terry Bradshaw but since then the Titans are now my team of choice.

  10. Randy Davenport says

I am more of a college football fan (Go Clemson!), but I will go with the local boys, Carolina Panthers. BTW who are the South Carolina Panthers?

  11. says

I guess it would be humm

    Have a great week
    And may The Lord
    Bless all the players and
    Their family’s
    To have a safe season

  12. says

The New York Islanders. Which should tell you the level of (A) my status as a fan, (B) interest in, and (C), attention to NFL football. And even ***gasp*** college football.

(I live in Alabama, you know…..)

Well, in all fairness, I’m a Baptist, and one religion is enough.

  13. John Klink says

Does “Whoever is playing against the Redskins” count as an answer?
If not, I’d have to go with Dallas Cowboys.

  14. Allen woodruff says

I’ve always been a big Denver Broncos fan, and being http at I’m from Indiana, getting Peyton Manning has only made it better.

  15. says

New York Football Giants … my grandfather bought season tickets in the 1950s when they played at the Polo Grounds, and the family has had them ever since. after 60 years, going to games at 6 stadiums in 3 states, it’s in our blood. haha

  16. Bill Gernenz says

Though I am a naturalized Texan, I stopped rooting for the ‘Boys in e mid-90s. I now refer to them affectionately as “Jerry’s Circus.” Having said all that, I have always (even whenpreciating other teams) been a Bears fan… ‘Da Bears!

  17. Zach Kennedy says

Carolina Panthers. I was born and raised in NC. They are the only team in any sport who I cheer for mainly because of geography, and I will cheer for them regardless of where I live.
